Huntington Station fire hurt resident, firefighter, officials say
One resident was transported to a hospital suffering from smoke inhalation and one firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion resulting from a fire late Sunday that damaged a home in Huntington Station, officials said.
The fire at the home on Kilburn Avenue was reported in a 911 call at 11:21 p.m.
Firefighters from the Huntington Manor Fire Department responded to the scene.
Additional details were not immediately known. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
