One person was injured but declined treatment at an early morning fire Wednesday at an auto parts shop on Route 109 in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County fire officials said.

It was not immediately clear if the injured person was a firefighter.

The fire at Lakewood Auto Parts was reported in a 911 call at 2:35 a.m. Firefighters from the East Farmingdale Fire Department responded, finding heavy smoke conditions.

Additional details were not available.
