One killed in crash on LIE exit 73 ramp

One person was killed in a single vehicle accident Monday in Riverhead on a Long Island Expressway exit ramp, police said.

The lone occupant was ejected from the vehicle on the exit 73 eastbound ramp at 1:41 p.m., Riverhead police said..

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Information concerning the victim's identity will be released after notification of next of kin, police said.
