One person hurt in Sagtikos Parkway crash, State Police say

New York State Police are investigating a crash on the Sagtikos Parkway that left at least one person injured Wednesday afternoon.
The crash was reported near Exit S1 about 4:30 p.m. and involved a single vehicle, a police spokesman said. Both state police and the Commack Fire Department responded, photos from the scene show.
The spokesman said the injured person was taken to a hospital.
A northbound lane was closed for about an hour while police investigated, according to the state department of transportation.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash or how seriously the person was hurt.
