A Patchogue man was arrested Sunday after Suffolk County police said he drove his car into another vehicle in Medford, then left the scene.

Luis Espinoza, 26, was driving a 2004 Honda Civic north on Route 112 at Robinson Avenue at 12:25 a.m. when police said his vehicle struck a 2009 Ford, which then careened into a 2003 Dodge.

Espinoza fled the scene and was found an hour and a half later, police said.

He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.

There was no information immediately available about injuries.
