Police have identified a man who was killed crossing Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown on Wednesday evening.

Suffolk County police said Jonathan Czeh, 34, of Kings Park, was crossing Jericho just after 7 p.m. when he was struck by a 2004 Ford Expedition driven by Lisa Boyle, 40, of Commack.

Czeh died at the scene.

Boyle stayed at the scene and was not charged, police said. Her SUV was impounded for a routine safety check.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the fatal accident to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
