Pedestrian struck on Sagtikos Parkway

A car struck a pedestrian on the Sagtikos State Parkway in Edgewood on Friday night, closing all the northbound lanes, state police said.

The accident happened about 9 p.m., and it also led the closure of the Southern State Parkway exit to northbound Sagtikos, according to the state's traffic website.

The pedestrian was hit near Exit S3, which is Pine Aire Drive.

Details were not immediately available Friday night.
