Police: 17 vehicles vandalized in Bay Shore; E-ZPass tags and wallet stolen
Who smashed the windows of 17 vehicles in Bay Shore, stealing E-ZPass tags and a designer Michael Kors wallet in the process? That's what police want to know, as they search for the suspect or suspects.
Suffolk County police said all of the vehicles were vandalized between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday and that most of the incidents took place on Pine Acres Boulevard, Brooklyn Boulevard, Manatuck Boulevard and Richland Boulevard. Investigators said that E-ZPass tags were stolen from two of the cars, and the designer wallet was stolen from another.
Police said they are canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance video.
