Police: 2 hurt as SUV hits Bay Shore 7-Eleven

Two people suffered minor injuries when a sport utility vehicle ran into the front of a 7-Eleven in Bay Shore Monday night, Suffolk County police said.
The injured people were taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, police said.
The SUV struck the front of the Union Boulevard store about 10:06 p.m., police said.
A Town of Islip building inspector determined only minor structural damage to the building, police said.
