They stole $135 worth of beer from a Target store in Commack earlier this month, spraying an employee with mace in the process, police said.
But, Suffolk County police, said the two men also left some incriminating evidence behind -- their images on store surveillance video. Now, police are asking the public's help identifying the suspects.
Police said the two entered the Target on Henry Street on Nov. 7 at about 1:45 p.m., then stole $135 worth of beer.
A store employee confronted the two. Which, police said, is when one of the suspects sprayed the employee with mace. The employee was not injured.
Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at Suffolk 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
