Police: 2 injured in accident on Sunrise Highway in West Babylon
Police said a man and a woman were injured in a one-vehicle accident that closed two lanes of westbound Sunrise Highway on Friday morning in West Babylon.
Suffolk County police said the crash occurred at 9:56 a.m. between Exit 40, Route 231, and Exit 39, Hubbards Path.
The vehicle, a 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer, crashed into the median, according to the 911 call.
