<a href="/topics/Suffolk_County%2C_NY">Suffolk</a> County homicide detectives are trying to determine who shot and killed a <a href="/topics/Central_Islip%2C_NY">Central Islip</a> man last month as he sat in a pickup truck in a <a href="/topics/Bay_Shore%2C_NY">Bay Shore</a> neighborhood. 
 Police in a news release Friday asked for the public's help in the shooting death of Brandon Sotomayor, 23. 
 On Nov. 2, Sotomayor was sitting in the front passenger seat of a green 1996 <a href="/topics/Chevrolet">Chevrolet</a> pickup on Reilly Street at about 11:50 p.m. 
 He was shot several times by two suspects and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. 
 The suspects were seen running south on Reilly Street. 
 Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
