Police: Bald, bearded man robs Deer Park bank

Suffolk County police detectives are investigating a bank robbery Saturday morning in Deer Park.

Police said a man handed a note to a teller at the Capital One Bank, 375 Commack Rd. near Grand Boulevard, about 10:35 a.m. demanding money. The teller then gave the man cash from the drawer and the suspect fled, police said.

The robber is described as being about 5-foot-10 and 30 to 35 years old, and bald with a medium build and a chin strap beard. He was wearing jeans and a blue windbreaker, police said.
