Police: Brentwood woman dies in parkway crash
A 25-year-old Brentwood woman was killed late Friday in a single-car crash on the Southern State Parkway just west of the Sagtikos Parkway in Islip, authorities said.
The woman was traveling west on the Southern State when her Acura TL left the road and struck a tree about 11:25 p.m., State Police said.
The victim's name was not released Saturday, pending notification of next of kin, authorities said.
There were no other injuries, State Police said.
