Police: Cash, cigarettes stolen from store
Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a food mart in Mastic Beach on Monday evening, police said.
Suffolk County police said the two men stole cash and cigarettes during the robbery at the Village Food Mart at 65 Mastic Beach Rd.
The robbery took place at about 7:45 p.m., police said.
No one was injured, police said, and it was not clear how much money was stolen.
