Suffolk County police are looking for a man who robbed a Coram gas station early Thursday.

A police spokeswoman said a man entered the Sunoco station at 3423 Rte. 112 at about 12:50 a.m. with what appeared to be a gun in his waistband.

He demanded cash from the clerk, who complied, she said.

The suspect then left with an unspecified amount of cash, driving away on Granny Road in a four-door sedan.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
