Police reopen 2 LIE eastbound lanes near Calverton
Two eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway near Calverton have been reopened after they were closed for several hours Sunday morning due to a crash, Suffolk County police said.
The middle and right lanes of the LIE at Exit 71 had been closed at 9 a.m. due to a two-car crash.
They were reopened by early Sunday afternoon.
