Police said an early morning crash closed a small section of Pulaski Road in East Northport Thursday, knocking out power in the area as well.

The crash involved a car into a utility pole, Suffolk County police said, and it occurred at 5:40 a.m. It was not immediately clear if there were injuries.

Police said the crash had closed Pulaski between Fourth and Fifth streets, but that as of 10 a.m. traffic was moving both ways through the area -- though crews were still on the scene, making repairs.
