Police: Driver crashed into front door in North Lindenhurst

The driver of a BMW sedan was injured in a single-car accident Thursday at the Normandy Garden Apartments on North Monroe Avenue in North Lindenhurst. A woman was admitted to a hospital Thursday night after she lost control of her BMW and crashed into the front door of an apartment on Monroe Avenue in North Lindenhurst, Suffolk County police said.
The crash occurred at 10:30 p.m. at the Normandy Garden Apartments near the intersection with Sunrise Highway.
The identity of the driver was not released. She was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.
