Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that crashed into an occupied home in Holbrook early Thursday morning -- then fled the scene.

The hit-and-run crash occurred at about 2 a.m. on Namrof Lane, Suffolk County police said. Police said no one in the home was injured.

Police said no description of the vehicle involved in the crash was available and that the structural damage to the home was "undetermined." It was not clear how many people were in the home when the crash occurred.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
