The driver, Susan Kelly, 54, of Stony Brook, was not injured, but two people in a doctor's waiting room had minor injuries after being hit by ceiling and wall debris, police said.
The Acura sport-utility vehicle first crashed into two cars, causing major damage, in the parking lot of Stony Brook Medical Park, 2500 Nesconset Hwy., shortly after 3 p.m., police said.
The SUV then hit another parked car closer to the building before it crashed into the office, according to police. A couple in their 60s was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, police said.
