Police: Farmingville home catches fire twice in 12 hours
A Farmingville home caught fire twice in less than 12 hours, but there were no reported injuries in either blaze, Suffolk County police said.
Arson Squad detectives from the Suffolk police department were first called to a fire on Lenore Lane at 3:17 p.m. on Friday, a department spokeswoman said.
Police received another call for a fire at the same house at 1:09 a.m. on Saturday. The home was unoccupied at the time, authorities said.
The Farmingville Fire Department responded to both fires, police said.
A call to the department was not immediately returned.
