Police investigate Bay Shore home invasion

Five men are under arrest, each charged with first-degree burglary, after a home invasion Monday night on Mowbray Avenue in Bay Shore, Suffolk County police said.

Police are not releasing details of the incident, which was reported at 9:31 p.m. They have not identified those arrested.

Sources told Newsday the home was targeted - but could not provide additional details.

Police would not say if weapons were involved or where the five alleged perpetrators were arrested.
