Police investigate Rocky Point bank robbery

A man entered a Rocky Point bank Tuesday morning, demanded money and made away on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, Suffolk County police said.
At 9:10 a.m. the man, around 6 feet tall and 30 to 40 years old, gave a demand note to the teller at Capital One, 366 Rte. 25A, police said. He was wearing a black coat.
Pattern crime unit detectives are investigating, and anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.
