Suffolk County police were investigating a noncriminal death in Brookhaven Town on Saturday evening, authorities said.
Half a dozen emergency vehicles responded to the scene, a wooded area at 700 Patchogue-Yaphank Rd. in Medford shortly before 3 p.m., officials said.
It wasn't immediately known if the death was weather related.
