A Huntington attorney has been arrested on larceny and fraud charges after scheming to steal nearly $40,000 from one of his clients, Suffolk County police said Thursday.
Police said Second Squad Det. Michael Mancusi led an investigation that revealed Andrew Donner, 55, had defrauded one of his clients starting in 2006 by taking the money from an escrow account.
Donner, who works out of his home, 45 Potter Lane, was arrested there Thursday morning and charged with grand larceny and scheming to defraud, police said.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
