Police look for TJMaxx shoplifters

Police are searching for two women they said shoplifted clothes, household goods and other items from a TJMaxx store in Riverhead at least four times. The merchandise is valued at more than $1,700.
Suffolk County police said one of the women was captured on surveillance equipment during a theft on March 5. They said the woman -- and a female companion -- stole the goods from the store on Old Country Road on that date, as well as on three other dates.
Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the crimes call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
