Police: Main Street reopens in East Setauket after car hits pole
All lanes of Main Street in East Setauket were closed for about two hours Friday morning after a vehicle struck a utility pole, Suffolk County police said.
The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
The roadway was closed in both directions between Van Brunt Manor Road and Harmony Lane following the accident at 7:58 a.m., police said.
All lanes had reopened as of 10:10 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation website.
