Police: Man asked student to get into car
A North Lindenhurst man was arrested on a harassment charge Monday after he allegedly asked a high school student to get into his car, Suffolk County police said.
Aristotle Demopoulos, 52, asked a female student at Lindenhurst High School at 300 Charles St. to get into his car at about 2 p.m., police said.
He was arrested at 3:26 p.m. and is charged with second-degree harassment, police said.
Demopoulos was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Central Islip.
