A 29-year-old Queens man was arrested Saturday night during a traffic stop in the Hamlet of Sagaponack after an investigation found his license had been suspended 32 times, police said.

Jason Canady was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and three counts of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, Southampton Town police said Tuesday.

The charges came after a traffic stop on Sagg Road at 8:42 p.m., police said.

During the stop, police said, Canady "failed to comply with the lawful orders of a police officer," refusing to produce proper paperwork when the officer asked for his license and registration. Police said that an investigation determined the suspensions.

The charges are all misdemeanors, police said.

Arraignment details were not immediately available.
