A man driving a stolen Hummer fled from Suffolk police in Medford Thursday, then rammed two parked vehicles, including a tractor-trailer.

An officer noticed he was driving erratically and stopped the Hummer on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 64 at about 11:37 a.m., police said.

But Shaun Haverty, 24, of Manorville, sped off and struck two vehicles before police could stop him a short distance away, police said.

The Hummer had been stolen from Riverhead, police said.

Haverty, of 4 Linda Lane, is expected to be arraigned Friday on third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, reckless driving and unlawful fleeing of an officer, police said.

He was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue with a "minor hand injury," police said.

No one else was injured and no other details were immediately available Thursday evening, police said.
