Police: Man shot on street in Bohemia

Suffolk County police are investigating after a man was shot in Bohemia on Friday night, a police spokeswoman said.

Police received a call that the man, 29, was shot on Village Lane in Bohemia at about 9:10 p.m., the spokeswoman said.

The man was taken to Southside Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A nearby house was also struck by a bullet.
