Police: Masked intruders robbed Halloween store
Police are searching for two armed robbers who held up a Halloween store in Riverhead Saturday wearing masks.
Riverhead Town police did not say what kind of masks the two robbers wore when they stormed Spirit Halloween on Old Country Road late Saturday, displaying handguns and demanding cash. The robbery occurred at 9:49 p.m., police said. Police said the robbers got the cash -- and then fled.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to call them at 631-727-4500. Additional information regarding the incident was not immediately available.
