Police: Mulch fire in Medford

Firefighters were called to a "very large" mulch fire in Medford, authorities said Saturday night.
The fire at 142 Peconic Ave. was reported about 7:30 p.m., Suffolk County police said.
The mulch was being stored outside, near an auto-parts store. The store was closed and no injuries have been reported, according to police.
