Police probe possible hit-and-run in Fort Salonga

Suffolk County police Friday morning were investigating a possible hit-and-run accident that killed a man in Fort Salonga, a police spokesman said.

The spokesman said police received a report of a man lying on Fort Salonga Road, near the Sunken Meadow Parkway, at about 1:35 a.m.

He had no further details.
