Police probe Shirley home invasion

Police are investigating a 911 call reporting that a victim had been tied up during a home invasion in Shirley Wednesday.

The call was received at 2:07 a.m. reporting the incident at the home on Pennwood Drive, Suffolk County police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police said the circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear and remain under investigation. It also is not clear if weapons were involved.
