Police are searching for three men who, wearing badges around their necks, forced their way into a home in Holbrook earlier this month, handcuffing an occupant -- and stealing cash before fleeing.

Additionally, Suffolk County police have released a sketch of one of the suspects, described as being 6-foot-3 or 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds with a shaved head and a "chinstrap brown beard." No information was immediately available on the other suspects, police said.

Police said the home invasion-style robbery took place on March 14 at a home on Donald Street. It was not clear how much money was taken.

The trio fled the scene in a white or gray Lincoln or Mercury four-door sedan, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
