Police say bomb threat evacuates Patchogue-Medford HS
Students were evacuated from Patchogue-Medford High School Wednesday morning after a call reporting a bomb threat was received by Suffolk County police.
No bomb was found during an investigation.
Police said the 911 call reporting the threat was received at 10:10 a.m. Patrol units were dispatched to the school on Buffalo Avenue in Patchogue and the students were evacuated.
No one was injured, police said. The incident lasted less than an hour.
Calls to the school were not immediately returned.
