Two Suffolk County residents have been arrested on charges of burglarizing an occupied home in Centereach after a two-week investigation that included federal marshals, Sixth Squad detectives said Friday.

Suffolk County police say a man and woman entered the home on Oct. 22, brandishing a handgun, and demanded cell phones and money from the occupants.

Daniel Emrich, 21, of 80 Herbert St., Islip, and Angela Beloyianis, 20, of 16 Pine Ridge Dr., Smithtown, were arrested at 4:20 p.m. Thursday at Emrich's home, police said.

Police did not say how much cash was taken and did not say how much the cell phones were worth.

The U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force and detectives collaborated on an investigation that led to the arrest, police said.

Emrich is charged with burglary, aggravated harassment and resisting arrest and Beloyianis is charged with burglary, police said.

They were scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Central Islip.
