Police seek 3 who stole American, POW flags from Mastic Beach park

Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers are looking for three people who stole flags flying from a Mastic Beach park in August.
Police on Wednesday released photographs of the suspects taken from video surveillance cameras at Osprey Park on Oceanview Drive.
At about 8:35 p.m. on Aug. 23, two men and a woman climbed a flagpole at the park to remove a U.S. flag, a Town of Brookhaven flag and a Prisoner of War flag.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will remain confidential.
