Suffolk County police are looking for a driver in a hit-and-run that left a bicyclist in Brentwood with serious internal injuries, the Third Precinct crime section said Wednesday.

On April 7 at about 7:15 a.m., a vehicle struck bicyclist George Escribano as he was riding west on Pine Aire Drive in front of a storage facility, police said.

Escribano was taken to Southside Hospital, where he was in serious condition in the intensive care unit, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
