Police seek group who robbed woman in Bay Shore

Police are searching for a trio of women who attacked another woman in the parking lot of a Bay Shore shopping center in November, beat her, then stole her pocketbook and cash, cops said. Police are searching for a trio of women who attacked another woman in the parking lot of a Bay Shore shopping center in November, beat her, then stole her pocketbook and cash.
The robbery took place Nov. 8 at the Manatuck Commons Shopping Center, police said.
Suffolk County police said the three women approached the victim while she was parking her car. One punched the victim on the side of the face, knocking her to the ground. The suspects kicked the woman in the ribs, legs and head, police said, before robbing her.
The suspects fled across Manatuck Boulevard toward the Hemlock Garden Apartments, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
