Police seek gunman in Riverhead shooting

Police said Saturday they are searching for the gunman who shot a man in the arm late Friday night in Riverhead.

The shooting happened about 9:50 p.m. on West Main Street. The shooter fled in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim was treated at Peconic Bay Medical Center.
