Suffolk County police are searching for a man who robbed a Lake Grove bank Monday afternoon.

A man entered TD Bank, located at 2822 Middle Country Road, approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash at 3:20 p.m., police said in a news release.

The teller gave the suspect cash from the drawer and the man fled on foot. The robber was last seen heading west on Middle Country Road.

The suspect is described as a male in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall, clean-shaven and with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored suit and tie, sunglasses, and a beige and brown striped ski hat.

Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
