Crime Stoppers and the Second Precinct Crime Section are on the lookout for the Marlboro man, wanted for stealing several packs of cigarettes from a Huntington Station convenience store in February, Suffolk County police said Thursday.

The suspect, whose photograph was taken by video surveillance cameras, entered a 7-Eleven on East Jericho Turnpike at about 3:36 p.m. Feb. 1, police said.

The man asked a store clerk for seven packs of Marlboros, and when the clerk went to ring up the sale, the suspect grabbed the cigarettes and fled in an unknown direction, according to a news release.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers, 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
