Police seek man who pulled gun on woman
The Fourth Precinct Crime Section is trying to find a man who put a gun to a woman's head in a convenience store parking lot in St. James, Suffolk County police said.
On March 28 at about 3:15 a.m., police said a passenger in a parked car at the 7-Eleven at 356 Lake Ave. was upset after a woman, 21, either "looked wrong" at him or spoke to him as she exited the store.
The passenger left the car, pulled a black, semiautomatic handgun from his waistband and held it to the woman's head as she got into her car, police said.
The man returned to his car and the driver sped away, police said.
Police have released photographs of the man taken from the store's video surveillance system.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
