Suffolk County police are searching for a man who robbed a TD Bank branch last month in Shirley -- stealing cash, but leaving behind some good surveillance footage.

The theft occurred at the bank on William Floyd Parkway on April 26 at 11:55 a.m.

Police said the man, seen in the footage wearing a hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, a baseball cap and jeans, entered the bank, handed a demand note to the teller, then fled on foot through the parking lot.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
