Police seek man who tried to rob Medford gas station

Suffolk County police are investigating an attempted robbery early Sunday morning at a gas station in Medford.
There were no reported injuries, police said.
According to police, a man walked into the USA gas station at the corner of Jamaica Avenue and Route 112 and displayed a knife; he demanded money, but fled without any proceeds.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police at 800-220-TIPS.
