Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers said Friday they are looking for a motorist in a hit-and-run accident that injured a Medford woman.

At about 5:20 p.m. on Nov. 17, the woman, 45, was walking on Pinegrove Avenue in Medford when she was struck by what a witness described as a blue Honda Civic, possibly with Virginia license plates, police said.

The woman remains hospitalized and has had surgery to her leg and hip, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
