Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate the male seen in this surveillance image who allegedly stole items of clothing from the Kohl's Department Store in North Bay Shore. (April 18, 2012) Credit: SCPD

He stole a pair of men's slacks, a fleece jacket and a pair of shoes from the Kohl's department store on Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, police said.

But, Suffolk County police said, he left behind a pretty good image of himself on the store's video surveillance camera.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS with information that might lead to his arrest.

The theft occurred at 11:25 a.m. Dec. 5, police said. The surveillance image shows the man wearing glasses and a pullover ski cap.
